Renaming:
In September 2021, the scheme was renamed as Pradhan Mantri Poshan Shakti Nirman (PM-POSHAN).
Scope:
The PM-POSHAN scheme serves 120 million children in over 1.27 million schools and Education Guarantee Scheme centers.
Uttarakhand:
In Uttarakhand, the Mid-Day Meal Scheme is implemented through the Samagra Shiksha.
